mark your calendars. the next geeky lady shindig will be saturday, september 18th, starting at noon.
here’s the details, in no particular order:
- the shindig is open to all geeky ladies–professional or self defined
- since this is starting at noon, food will probably be involved. if it’s not raining, we can grill meat/non-meat outside. otherwise possibly making it more potluck based. (RSVP over here, and i’ll make sure to contact people closer to the day to give last minute details)
- i have bocci ball and croquet. we will play one/both of these if the weather is nice
- if not, i’ve got apples to apples and a wii. we’ll make do just fine
- i will provide some snacks and drinks, but the beer fridge is running a bit low. you’re welcome to bring your favorite beverage to share, or hit up the tapps estate basement bar for cocktails & mixed drinks (cuz it’s five o’clock somewhere…)
- i have about 7 functioning lawn chairs. (many more indoor chairs, so that’s not a problem) if there’s more of you. bring a chair.
